About the Internal Mic Capsule
The Internal Highlander Mic features a miniature, low noise, hi fidelity, omni-directional mic capsule, presision engineered to deliver the high quality sound that musicians have come to expect from Highlander. To isolate the Mic capsule from unwanted vibration, it is mounted in its housing using an isolating / 'shock absorbing' material. The capsule’s housing is mounted on a professional, miniature gooseneck.

About the Internal Mic Preamp
The Internal Highlander Mic features a class 'A', miniature, no noise, hi-fidelity preamplifier that is mounted in the clip. This discrete, complimentary design brings an unrivaled level of warmth and clarity to instrument microphones.
Four synthetic cork pads ensure the mic attaches securely to a back brace and stays put.
Overall frequency response of the mic when mounted inside a guitar is: 20Hz > 22KHz
Note: The upper limit (22KHz) is a function of the the capsule design.

About the Internal Mic's Connections & Power
Audio is connected via the tip of the 3.5mm stereo mini jack.
9V battery power is deliverd to the mic preamp and capusle via the ring of the mini jack.
Ground and 'battery negative' are connected to the shield
When powered from an iP-2 the combination will run for 500 hours (appox) on a single 9V battery. The Stand Alone Model will run for 1000 hours if used on it's own. As phantom power is not required, the Mic can be used with any one of the wide variety of amps and sound systems that are available today.
